Hi. My name is Colin Makin and together with my brother Brian we offer a one-stop piano sales service to our customers from our base in Edinburgh.

Founded in 1931 our business is now in its third generation. From the very outset we have specialised in acoustic pianos and have resolutely stuck to what we know best.

Fiercely independent to this day, we are not tied to a particular piano manufacturer or associated with any other piano retailer. This means we are entirely free to stock pianos from those manufacturers which we believe offer the best value for money to our customers.

Additionally, the fact that we don’t employ salespersons means we don’t have to bear their high salary costs. This helps us to remain extremely competitive on price when compared to both conventional and internet retailers.

We believe we offer the best value and service in acoustic pianos in the UK today.
